เมื่อวันที่ 14 มิถุนายน 2556 โรงเรียนแม่อ้อวิทยาคม ร่วมกับสถานีตำรวจภูธรแม่อ้อ จัดทำโครงการสถานีตำรวจจำลองในโรงเรียนโดยได้รับความร่วมมือจากสถานีตำรวจภูธรแม่อ้อ โดยนายจรัล แก้วเป็ง ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียน ร่วมกับ พ.ต.ท.พงษ์ศักดิ์ ธรรมเขตต์ สารวัตรใหญ่สถานีตำรวจภูธรแม่อ้อ ร่วมกันเป็นประธานในพีธีเปิดการอบรมในครั้งนี้ ในโครงการนี้จะเป็นการจำลองเอาการปฏิบัติงานในสถานีตำรวจ มาใช้ในโรงเรียน โดยมีคณะกรรมการสภานักเรียน เข้าร่วมอบรม
